Here’s a great case study from a recent Los Angeles corporate event we operated out of the Ritz-Carlton Marina Del Rey in February. The event involved LAX airport transfers, shuttles from the Port of Long Beach, as well as onsite teambuilding and decor elements.
The day of events kicked off with our Operation Green Thumb philanthropic teambuilding activity, where participants worked together to create portable gardens that were donated to a local school.
After an afternoon full of teamwork and corporate social responsibility, it was time for some casual networking. “Our Mid-West client wanted an authentic Californian beach theme for their outdoor cocktail reception,” said Operations Manager Marcie Booth. “To achieve this, we used coastal and nautical themed linens, centerpieces with sand and shells surrounding white candles, and a beautiful lantern structure that hung high above the guests.”
“After their cocktail hour, our team transformed their meeting space into a gold and chevron themed awards gala with large candelabras set upon 5 foot wooden pedestals, short and tall orchid inspired floral arrangements, and amber up lighting to give the room a warm and rich feel and look. Between the Ritz Carlton staff and our client, we heard a number of compliments on our transformation!”
