Announcing Hello! California Destination Management

Orlando, FL – Hello! Destination Management (Hello-DMC) a destination management company (DMC) headquartered in Orlando, FL announced today the acquisition of The Event Team in San Diego.


The Event Team is a full-service destination management company serving the Southern California area since 1992.  Founded by Matt Robbins, The Event Team boasts a leadership team that includes Bill Yahres (GM), Romy Linde (Director or Sales), and Paige Weeber (Director of Operations) who collectively have 51 years of experience at the firm.  Together, they've built a reputation as a leading DMC in Southern California.

Operations will continue as "Hello! California" and will remain in the greater San Diego area.  Hello! California will bring the total number of Hello offices to nine (9) locations throughout the country, including operations in Orlando, Miami, Washington, DC, Las Vegas, Nashville, Scottsdale, Dallas and Austin, serving over 30 destinations.

Round Up at Talk of the Town for Hello! Florida Field Trip Fund This August!


During the entire month of August, customers at any of the Talk of the Town Restaurant Group's establishments in Central Florida will have the chance to "round up" their check to the nearest dollar for the Hello! Florida Field Trip Fund. All donations go directly to the fund which supports Orange County Public Schools (OCPS).

The Hello! Florida Field Trip Fund was founded by Senior Account Executive Shannon Orme.  All money raised goes to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) focused field trips for Orange County children.  The fund helps pay for OCPS students to attend field trips when their families cannot afford them.  In the past two years, we've been thrilled to send over 1,200 local children on fun, educational school field trips. Hello! Hometowns with Lisa Tanner

Dallas Sales Coordinator Lisa Tanner tells us her favorite things about the city! 


My definition of One Perfect Day in Dallas is an afternoon in Grapevine. It is picturesque with endless small mom and pop shops, restaurants, and wineries. They even have horse drawn carriage rides! Every time I visit I feel like I stepped back in time and it is so refreshing.

I chose to make Dallas my home because it is a big city with so much opportunity to flourish. Although it is massive, it still has a small town roots feel.

I'm passionate about free street cars that can take you from Bishop Art District all the way to Downtown Dallas and everything in between. It is always on time and super convenient!

People would be surprised to know it does snow in Dallas, Texas! Being a born and raised Floridian, I was stoked that it snowed on my birthday this past January!

In my opinion, brisket or really anything from Lockhart's BBQ is a signature food item that visitors must try. Lines are typically out the door. The meats are smoked Texan style all day and once it's gone it is gone! So you have to get there early because it can and will sell out!

​My definition of One Perfect Day in my hometown is heading to the beach with my husband and son.

I chose to make Orlando my home because: my husband and I both work in Orlando, have family here and it still allows us proximity to the beach.

I'm passionate about finding new restaurants in Orlando.

People would be surprised to know there are a lot of breweries to explore in Orlando.

In my opinion, 4Rivers is the signature food item that visitors must sample.

Hello! and HelmsBriscoe Partner with Common Threads to Train Future Chefs

This April, Hello! joined HelmsBriscoe for their Annual Business Conference in Chicago. As part of their HB Cares initiative, which empowers HelmsBriscoe partners to reach out in their local communities, Hello! co-sponsored the HB Cares Luncheon.


This year's luncheon partnered with a charity called Common Threads Cooking for Life. Common Threads' mission is to educate low-income children on the importance of nutrition and physical wellbeing, empowering them to be agents of change for healthier families, schools, and communities. We worked with HelmsBriscoe leaders to find innovative ways to educate a group of Chicago kids to be fit and to prepare and eat healthy foods.


The lunch included a variety of stations for kids, where conference attendees worked with the kids to teach them how to shop for foods at a farmer's market, how to cook, to do yoga, to dance, and to create art for self-expression. Hello! team member Valerie Hershiser says "It's always a pleasure to give back with our partners at HelmsBriscoe, and this luncheon was especially impactful because we got to work directly with children in Chicago, where our conference was based. It's our hope that they take their new skills home and form healthy habits to last a lifetime!"

My definition of One Perfect Day in my hometown is:  laying by the pool with friends and of course, my corgi.  

I chose to make Las Vegas my home because I have enjoyed growing up with life-long friends and majority of my family.

I'm passionate about how new Vegas has been developed to mesh with old Vegas.  

People would be surprised to know that it actually does get cold in Vegas during the winter.

In my opinion, a slice from Secret Pizza at the Cosmopolitan Hotel is a signature food item that visitors must sample in my hometown.

Austin Backyard Backstories with Elizabeth Macasadia


Hello! Texas' Elizabeth Macasadia has been to 125 countries and 49 states, so she's a pro at finding the best things to do in cool cities. Here's her expert take on Austin!

My definition of One Perfect Day in Austin is going to an amazing brunch with mimosas and live music at Stubbs, followed by loads of shopping at The Domain, an electric bike ride on our new waterfront boardwalk at Lady Bird Lake, and then dinner and salsa dancing at Casa Chapala.


I chose to make Austin my home because: Hello! asked me to move here! No, really, I absolutely love exploring new cities, so when our General Manager asked me to make the move, I happily accepted!

I'm passionate about street art in my hometown. All around Austin there is amazing street art. It seems everywhere you turn downtown there are murals of all styles. It's gorgeous!


People would be surprised to know that Austin was just named the Best Place to Live by US News & World Report.

In my opinion, Tex Mex is the signature food/drink item that visitors must sample in Austin. There are so many varieties and amazing places to get Tex Mex here!

Hello! Arizona Wows with a Week of Exciting Events!

In March 2017, Hello! Arizona produced a week of events for a global manufacturing company at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass. We managed the entire program, from airport pickups to drop-offs and everything in between.


It all started with a Western Welcome Reception on the lawn. Our 280 guests mingled as the Arizona sunset lit up the sky. The following night, guests chilled out with a Food Truck Party, sampling the best of Chandler, Arizona dining. On the third night, we took everyone to the Corona Ranch for an old-west experience complete with an Audience Participation Rodeo. The next day, guests took a break from meetings with our River Float, Hiking, Golf, and 4x4 excursions.

We finished with a gala dinner at the Heard Museum. Once the whirlwind week was at an end, our clients wrote to Hello! Arizona Account Executive Rachel Hall about their experience:

“On behalf of our entire team, I want to thank you, Lauren and Lindsay for your assistance in the planning and execution of the events portion of our global meeting.  Our leaders consider it a huge success and were very pleased with all that was planned.  We acknowledge that our success is reflective of the excellent service we received from the Hello! Arizona team!

I conducted a debrief with our team and the overall feedback is extremely positive.  You, Lauren and Lindsay are the ultimate professionals.  All of the events, activities, and transportation arrangements were very well managed.  You and Lindsay did a fabulous job of overseeing the set-up of the dinners and were great about checking in with us throughout each evening to ensure that things were meeting our expectations.  Lauren did an excellent job of overseeing the various transportation arrangements throughout the week, working closely with Paula to manage the changes.  You are clearly experienced and talented planners, creative, very knowledgeable of the area and the various options for group activities, and you have a “hands on” management style which makes a difference in the ultimate success of a meeting like ours.  Additionally, you are warm, thoughtful, and just fun to be around.

Our leaders have not yet made a commitment to another meeting, but, if/when they do, you can be sure that we will look to partner with one of your national Hello! teams.  It would be great if we could return to Phoenix and work with you again.” Congratulations, Rachel, Lauren and Lindsay on a job well done!

My definition of One Perfect Day in South Florida is: the weather at 72 degrees partly cloudy, no chance of rain and the ocean's breeze running rapid through the city.


I chose to make South Florida my home because: I was born and raised here. It's a melting pot of culture. I'm minutes away from the most beautiful beaches in the world. And the greatest place on earth…Disney!

I'm passionate about charity work in my hometown.

People would be surprised to know that many Floridians don't take advantage of the beaches in my hometown.

In my opinion, Seafood is the signature food item that visitors must sample in South Florida.
