5K/Fun Runs: Enjoy an invigorating Fun Run in a beautiful Southern California city. Run with your friends on a course that takes you around the most picturesque sites of the area. Whether you are a competitive runner or just a fun walker, our fun run courses have plenty to offer!
Adventure Rallies/Amazing Chase: Discover the fun and excitement of a Southern California city! Teams explore the secrets of the area and work together to answer clues, take pictures, bring back scavenger items and put together a “Story Board” of their trip. Officials judge each story board, and every member of the winning team goes home with an engraved medal!
Amazing Poker Run:This event is not a race; it's a game of chance and fun on beautiful Southern California waters. Fused with elements of television's popular "Amazing Race" game show, this new high-energy teambuilding event is sure to make your heart pound with excitement. After a briefing, teams race to their respective boats and speed off to several docks where challenges await. Completion of these challenges result in the opportunity to earn playing cards. After visiting each dock, teams rejoin to see who has the best poker hand!
"Can"Struction Challenge: This feel-good Event Team philanthropic teambuilding activity allows groups to work on important leadership and teamwork skills by designing and creating a "can"struction. After presentations are made and awards are given, all food supplies are donated to a local food bank.
Corporate Castaways: You are castaways on a deserted island. Your goal is simple…to survive! Your group will be divided into tribes, and each tribe will compete to earn points in various challenges. Prudent planning and sound teamwork will prevail…may the tribal gods be with you!
Drum Circles: Drumming is a universal expression that transcends all boundaries: personal, organizational or cultural. The group is guided through a series of drumming exercises that
teach productivity and efficiency through interactive teambuilding. The event closes with a high-energy percussion set that celebrates self-expression and leadership. See how the power of music and drumming can turn your company or department into a community.
Game Shows/Audience Response Systems: The Event Team team
building planners can facilitate any game show event that mimics today's popular TV game shows (Jeopardy, Family Feud, etc.), or we can fully customize a game show according to the client's objectives. Professional emcee's, wireless keypads and all necessary equipment is provided.
GeoTracking GPS Challenge: The Geo Tracking Challenge is a teambuilding experience that combines the latest technologies with outdoor adventure to create a high-tech treasure hunt. Based on the international sport of geocaching, groups will be assigned an area to explore, where they will find unusual trivia to solve, beautiful landscape to enjoy, an hidden cache treasures galore!
Ice Breakers/Interactive Games: If you are just looking for a simple and cost-effective way to encourage networking at your function, The Event Team offers Icebreakers that pop. Fan favorites include "Telling Lies" and "Getting to Know You Bingo." We can also set up a casual "Game Night" on-site at the hotel, with childhood favorites like Jenga, Twister, and Monopoly, as well as modern entertainment like Wii Sports and Garage Band.
Iron Chef Competition: In this exciting hands-on teambuilding activity, participants are challenged to create culinary masterpieces! Guests will be divided into teams and each team will have access to identical ingredients from an elaborate market display. The teams will then compete by creating unique dishes within parameters designed by the Chef, then submit their entries to our panel of judges; the winner will be chosen based on creativity, taste, teamwork and organization!
Minute to Win It: Our version of this popular television game show is a high-energy and fast-paced way to foster team spirit while also testing individual skills like concentration and speed. Participants compete in hilarious minute-long challenges like Cup-Stacking, Office Tennis, and Hanky Panky.
Murder Mystery: This is a wonderful enhancement to a formal or casual dinner event. Each team spends the evening trying to guess who the actors are in the group, and watch a series of murders unfold over the evening, linked together by clues and evidence. A comic "detective" leads the group through the investigation, helping guests decide "whodunit."
Navy SEAL Team Adventure: This program will push you to your physical and mental limits, again and again, until you are physically and mentally strong and ready for the adventure of a lifetime in the Navy SEAL Team Adventure. Uniforms and face paint will be supplied. Team challenges may include negotiating a Military Obstacle Course, diffusing a "bomb," precision Target Shooting, and more! Do you have what it takes?
Paintball Challenge: Paintball is one of the fastet growing recreational sports in the world. Protected players are armed with environmentally safe CO2-powered guns and the object is to eliminate the other team's players. Teams compete on a refereed field, with a choice of competitive themes.

So You Think You Can Rock: The Event Team presents the ultimate teambuilding event “So You Think You Can Rock”. Teams become their own Rock Bands and learn from professionals how to perform on stage. Each “Band” will choose their song, write their own lyrics, and work with our House Band to win the Battle of the Bands. Find the hidden talents of your group in a fun and entertaining event where You are the Stars!You are the Stars!
Sports of All Sorts:
The name of this popular activity says it all. The Event Team will provide "sports of all sorts" in your hotel ballroom or event space, and guests will be handed scorecards to track their progress at each station. Game options include Pop-a-Shot Basketball, Touchdown Pass, Wii Sports, Garage Band, Miniature Golf, and much more!
Super Olympics/Beach Olympics: The Super Olympics is our version of a “Battle of the Stars” competition, except the emphasis is on fun and camaraderie, not winning or losing. As a kick-off event for a convention or meeting, Super Olympics is the perfect ice-breaker. Whether members receive a “1st Place” medal or the “Not Your Day” Award, the group will leave with wonderful memories and a renewed sense of team spirit! Each Olympics is custom-designed for your group, and may include fun activities such as Volleyball, Water Balloon Toss, Sack Race, Chug Run, Monsterball Toss, and an Obstacle Course.
The Hungry Games:This exciting culinary challenge incorporate characters and themes from the popular Hunger Games novels. "Tributes" are selected at random from each "district" to compete in a series of physical and mental challenges that allow each district the opportunity to earn additional ingredients and/or utensils for their culinary creation.
You Build it Cars, etc.: You Build It Cars is our version of the Indianapolis 500 car race. Groups are divided into teams and sent to their respective “garages” to design and construct a human powered race car capable of completing our course. Teams are judged not only on winning and losing, but also on creativity and the presentation of their racecars to our officials. We supply all the materials to build the winning car, you supply the driver and the creativity! (We can adjust this event to build just about anything! Boat-building in the summer time is always a fan favorite!)
You Build It Bikes, Wagons, etc: (And other Charity You Build Its): These events are facilitated in the same manner as our other you-build-it events, with an additional feel-good twist. After the fun & games of building your item of choice, representatives from you favorite charity can come and accept the items you have donated on behalf of children and families in need. Every guest also goes home with a certificate of participation that thanks them for their good deed!
